The city of Niagara Falls, New York, says daredevil Nik Wallenda still owes the city about $25,000.
Officials with the city say that’s the amount outstanding for public safety costs from last month’s tightrope walk across the falls.
Wallenda, however, says Niagara Falls has already received more than it was entitled and he wants back the $17,500 he paid.
Wallenda argues the city isn’t entitled to anything because his walk took place on New York State property, and the state has already been paid.
